Don't Stop Just
“Keep moving forward”; I have thought about what this quote meant, in my best adaptation I believe this quote means that even though you make mistakes just keep moving on in life. With this quote in mind I am living a life where I learn from my past but continue to move forward. This quote has had in a huge effect in my life.
I was born May 5, 1998 in Fresno, California. I was in Fresno for only a few weeks before my parents decided to move to a small town called Lindsay, California. Ever since then I have spent my entire life in lindsay. I came from a middle class family with a hispanic background. My family growing up worked in the fields, they constantly tell me to do good in school and get a good job so I won’t have to do what they do. My parents have shown me all sorts of things to help prepare me for the real world. Coming from a Hispanic background I was interested in the culture so with my family we visited Mexico to visit my grandparents. Once over there they told me all sorts of stories about the traditions and myths. I was fascinated in what they told me about the Hispanic culture. Now knowing about my family’s background I am even more intrigued by the culture
Starting school I realized I had a huge interest in Mathematics. I was very fond of all the equations, formulas, graphs, and equalities. I wasn’t sure why I loved math it just made so much sense to me. Everyone in my school would come up to me to get help. I’d continue to enjoy math until sophomore year. In my sophomore year I was enrolled in algebra 2; the moment I step in that room I thought to myself “this is going to be a fun year for math”. As the year went by I slowly started to feel that math was becoming boring; slowly did I start to do work in it. When I was done with algebra 2 I decided to not take another math class again. As time went by I tried to find a new interest; it wasn't until I hear about computer repair. I looked at what computer repair was about and once again I was interested in a subject; the subject of technology. So at the start of my junior year of highschool I took computer repair, web design, and video editing. All these classes made me more interested in the field of technology. But in the back of my mind I felt regret for not taking another math class and it was too late to join one. It was a mistake to not take one because I was still interested in math, then I remembered a quote “Keep moving forward”. With that in mind I continued in life and making sure I didn’t do the same thing with technology as learning from my past. But, if I do make mistakes I won't stop but just keep moving forward
